An Air Jordan 5 “Regal Pink” Expected April 2022

With only a couple of months left in the year, rumors of launches scheduled for 2022 have begun to take over every corner of the internet. The latest?: An Air Jordan 5 “Regal Pink.”

Presumably prepped for Easter, the newly-rumored retro might take on the styling of the recently-launched “Bluebird” option for women. An all-over suede construction is expected, with profile windows and lace guards taking on their standard mesh and TPU builds, respectively. The Jordan 5‘s reflective tongues and detailing across the midsole are slated to deviate in a “Copa” tone that further drives home the use of spring-ready pastels.

As with other unauthorized, early mock-ups, the image featured below isn’t accurate of the final product. Color placement will likely differ on the pairs that arrive to Nike SNKRS in April 2022.

Eminem debuts ‘Air Shady’ Air Jordan 3 PE during Super Bowl LVI halftime performance

The Super Bowl LVI halftime show is already viewed as one of the best Super Bowl performances ever, with Eminem joining Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, and 50 Cent in a mix of incredible hip-hop performances at SoFi Stadium.

While the series of performances captured everyone’s attention, many also spotted Marshall Mathers rocking a new pair of Air Shady sneakers. After delivering two of his greatest hit songs, “Lose Yourself” and “Forget About Dre”, the iconic rapper revealed his new kicks on Instagram.

Debuted on Sunday night, the Nike Air Jordan 3 PEs are directly from Jordan Brand, with a custom design made perfect for Eminem. The Detroit native’s sneakers featured a black, white and red colorway with a translucent outsole. On the heel, Nike created a special ‘Hi, My Name is Slim Shady” name-tag.

It’s currently not known if Eminem and Nike are planning an upcoming release. However, the legendary performer has a history of debuting custom-made sneakers and then using them for a good cause. A pair of Carhartt X Eminem Air Jordan, one of just 10 pairs ever made per the Detroit Free Press, was sold at auction in 2018 and the money went towards the Charities Aid Foundation of America.

Considering the huge stage the Air Jordan 3 PE was on and the historic significance of the Super Bowl LVI halftime show, the Jordans will likely result in a massive bidding war if they are put up for charity auction. Given his history, that’s likely where these sneakers are headed.

Jordan 12 ‘Playoffs’ to launch on February 19 for P9,995

THE '90s throwbacks continue.

Nike just dropped a remastered version of this Jordan 12 colorway, worn by Michael Jordan during most of the 1997 postseason.

The black-and-white palette is a solid contender for one of the most iconic colorways in the Air Jordan line.

The pair features the classic tumbled leather seen in other models of the Air Jordan 12s, while the back heel has a message for those who would like to cop a pair saying “Quality Inspired by The Greatest Player Ever”.

The pair was designed by the equally legendary Tinker Hatfield.

The Jordan 12 ‘Playoffs’ will be available on Nike’s website for purchase starting Feb. 19 for P9,995 at 10:00 a.m..

The pair are also available for older kids, younger kids, and toddlers for a price of P6,295 for older kids, P3,795 for younger kids, and P2,795 for toddlers.

This Air Jordan 1 Mid Is Inspired By The African Continent

The Air Jordan 1 Mid has acted as a canvas for a number of influences, some obviously more eccentric than others. Here, the silhouette ostensibly draws inspiration from the African continent, whose shape is pictured right on the heel.

Surrounding its image is a number of vibrantly colored panels, each distinct in their choice of texture. A crinkling is applied to the darker, deep red collar, while a somewhat smoother finish defines the pink ankle flap adjacent. As for the Swoosh, which contrasts in white, the leather is cracked across the entire surface, possibly nodding to the dry Sahara Desert. The texture of the heel tab and toe cap, too, seem to pay homage to another African sight, the great savanna elephants, unlike the tumbled base underneath.

BECKON BLUE SKIES WITH THE NIKE AIR JORDAN 5 ”BLUEBIRD”

Model: Air Jordan 5 "Bluebird"
Release Date: Available now
Price: $190

It feels like only yesterday that we got a full look at the upcoming Jordan Brand holiday release calendar and started picking off all our favorites – and there was plenty of them.

As is life, blink, and the time has come that these releases have started to roll around and start a frenzy on Nike SNKRS.

Kicking things off with a strong start is the Nike Air Jordan 5, the World War II fighter plane-inspired and Fresh Prince-adored silhouette that has remained close to the heart of Air Jordan conessiours over the years. Despite the fast-approaching dark, colder months, the latest member of the AJ5 family is a colorful reminder of the summer. Welcome, the "Bluebird."

As its name would suggest, the silhouette is all about blue. A sky blue suede fills the entirety of the upper panels, matched with plastic mesh underlays, tooling, and laces. The iconic oversized AJ5 tongue retains its usual metallic silver coloring, which is also found on parts of the midsole and heel. Final touches of a deep teal tidy up the remaining parts of the midsole while also filling the lining, insole, and parts of the icy outsole.

If Narnia's Ice Queen rocked Js, these would be in the daily rotation.

First Look At The Air Jordan 3 “Desert Elephant”

We’re not sure how this cross-hybridization works, but apparently if you cross an elephant with the Jumpman logo, you get a guy with a basketball. Jokes aside, this upcoming Air Jordan 3 seems to focus on the one detail that has allowed it to stand apart from every sneaker in history. That would be “elephant print”, a design choice selected by Tinker Hatfield in response to Michael Jordan’s desire for a more luxurious look and feel to his shoes. Known for its grey color and deep black ridges, elephant print was created to mimic the dry, cracked skin of the gentle giant. Little did he know it would be one of the most significant visuals in footwear history.

This upcoming release dubbed “Desert Elephant” takes the Air Jordan 3 and applies some newer materials to the construction. The black upper is the standard leather, but the toe/heel mudguard is in a natural brown with a texture more consistent with an actual skin of an elephant. A pinkish hue appears on the center of the lace collar as well as the tongue, ankle, lining, and insoles, while a bright orange sits on the Jumpman on the tongue and the inner side of the tongue. Finally, the insoles features a small patch that simply describes the formula that created the Air Jordan 3 as we know it.

A release date is not known yet, but we can surely expect these sometime in 2022. For now, see what else is confirmed to release in our Jordan release dates 2022 preview.
